The Colombian Supremo is a very mild coffee with good body and acidity. It has a fruity-floral finish, with a hint of spiciness, and is very well balanced. The Huila growing area is in the southwestern part of Colombia. These areas, and their sub-regions, are the source for the best Colombian coffees, which can have some vivid complexities to accompany the basic cup profile. Huila coffee is grown be-tween 3,500 and 5,000 foot elevation in the Andes mountain range. “Supremo” describes the bean size as Supremo beans are 17 or 18 screen size.
